Credit Cards: Most major credit cards are accepted via Paypal. You are not required to have a Paypal account in order to use this service.
Personal Checks, Money Orders and Cashier’s Checks: We gladly accept personal checks (USD via a U.S. bank only), money orders and cashier's checks. All orders paid with a personal check will be shipped once your payment has cleared our bank (usually 10 to 14 days). Please make payments out to:

Orders using a personal check, money order, or cashier's check will be held for twelve (12) days from the day your order is placed. If payment hasn’t been received during that time, items will be relisted for resale. That said, we will, at our discretion, work with you should you need more time.
International Buyers: Paypal is the only form of payment we accept; please make your payment in U.S. funds. Any and all customs fees, duties, charges, etc. on international orders will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Please note: Orders will not be shipped until payment has been made, and no C.O.D.’s will be accepted.
At this time, shipping is free on all orders of $50.00 or more. Certain restrictions apply. Shipping is additional on all items and orders not meeting the free shipping requirements. The chosen method of shipping is at the discretion of The Steamship Exchange. Typically, orders shipped within the U.S. will be sent USPS Priority Mail or Media Mail (unless your order requires special attention due to size, weight, bulk or location). In some instances, it may be necessary to use Fedex, DHL, etc.
ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Because of the physical nature of some items, including size and weight, there may be a surcharge for shipping. This is stated in the description of items to which this applies. If you wish to purchase one or more of these items, please complete the ordering process as normal. Within a few days you will receive an invoice via email for the difference in shipping cost. YOU MUST PAY THIS ADDITIONAL AMOUNT BEFORE THE ITEM(S) WILL BE SENT TO YOU. By purchasing these items you agree to these terms.
RETURNS & GENERAL INFO
As a rule, items may not be returned. While strenuous effort is made to present each item as accurately as possible, errors or omissions might occasionally occur. If any item is misrepresented, or not as described, you may return it for a refund of the purchase price. Refund requests must be received within three (3) days of arrival, and all returns must have prior approval. Shipping, insurance, Paypal fees, duties, etc. are non-refundable as is the cost of returning the item to us. Items must be received within two weeks via insured priority mail and signature confirmation.
Because every item is illustrated on our site, we urge you to make sure the item(s) you are buying are not duplicates (that is, unless that’s your intention) as we will not issue refunds for that reason.
All items are offered on a first come, first served basis, and are subject to prior sale. Unless noted, items are in excellent condition; however, due to the nature and age of some items, normal wear and tear is to be expected.
